Cebu City Charter Day is observed on 24th February. The main attractions of this festival are the parades and the presentation ceremony that are attended by the officials. At the presentation ceremony the people who have contributed greatly towards the development of this city are awarded. The organizations that have helped in the betterment of the city are also given their due recognition.
This celebration starts with a mass that is held at the City Hall. The mass is followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. The civic as well as the military parade pulls in a large number of people. |
