Kung Fu Panda 2 Movie Review

In Kung Fu Panda, Po (voice of Jack Black) was just like a baby panda – adorable, loveable and a little difficult to keep in tow. And while his father Mr. Ping (James Wong) hoped one day Po would take over his noodle shop, Po wanted to travel his own road of destiny. That decision – against all odds – found him as the next Dragon Warrior in the Valley of Peace.

As with most peaceful places, there’s always someone who wants to cause havoc. In Kung Fu Panda 2, a tad more mature Po and his Furious Five kung fu masters Tigress (voice of Angelina Jolie), Monkey (voice of Jackie Chan), Mantis (voice of Seth Rogen), Viper (voice of Lucy Liu), and Crane (voice of David Cross) feel ready to take on those out for control of the Valley.

Fast Five (Fast & Furious 5) – Movie Review

Fast-Five-Fast-And-Furious-5-2011-review It’s been 10 years since THE FAST & THE FURIOUS launched the careers of stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.  You would think that a franchise built on fast cars and cheesy dialogue would have run out of gas by the first sequel, but it seems by the box office numbers that fans of the FAST/FURIOUS movies just can’t get enough.  The most surprising thing though is that the fifth movie in the franchise is actually the best.   I have enjoyed each of the films.

FAST FIVE works very well for a number of reasons. The first would be Director Justin Lin. Lin took over the franchise with the 3rd film and since then has made each film less reliant on street racing, allowing the stories and the characters to evolve. Brian and Dom have matured and so have their actions.

Forget the iPhone 5, iPhone ’4S’ is Apple’s next phone

According to Forbes, you shouldn’t pin your hopes and dreams on the launch of the iPhone 5 come September. Analyst Peter Misek tells the site that a device called the iPhone 4S is actually set to debut, which will not include LTE functionality. Misek claims the iPhone 4S will “include minor cosmetic changes, better cameras, A5 dual-core processor, and HSPA+ support.” iPhone 4S - apple

Why yet another delay? Apparently the Qualcomm LTE chipset the iPhone 5 is supposed to have isn’t performing up to Apple’s standards. Apple planned to release both the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5 this fall, with the major difference being the 4S would not have the 4G/LTE service the 5 did.
